These are the terms and conditions that apply when you purchase goods from our website
PRIVACY POLICY
By using this site, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy.
Sit & Sleep may use your information to contact you about special offers and promotions. You are entitled to opt out of this service at any stage.
When you shop with Sit & Sleep you give us your consent to collect and process your personal information, which we use to create and manage your account, process your payment, fulfill your order, communicate with you, and deliver your goods.
PRICING & PAYMENT OPTIONS
The price of each product is displayed with the product and displays the full retail price including VAT and excluding delivery costs.
All precautions are taken to provide correct pricing on images on the site, however, if an error does occur, no liability can be held against Sit & Sleep.
Sit & Sleep offers various payment options on our payment gateway (Payfast)
We take reasonable steps to secure your payment information. Transacting with us is safe and secure.
Payments made by EFT require at least 48 working hours to clear funds.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
When you buy from us, you agree to accept all our terms and conditions.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to return the goods, within 7 days. Note that all exchanges will be done in line with the terms of the CPA.
Cash refunds will not be given, and any refunds due will be paid back into the user’s bank account or credit card.
Refunds are completed within 7 – 14 working days from date of the agreement between the web administration and the customer.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
You may choose to receive your products in one of two ways:
Deliveries:
- We charge a standard fee of R475.00 for areas within a 30km radius of our store.
- The online free delivery campaign only applies to purchases over R5000 made ONLINE
- Deliveries outside of the 30km radius of our store, will be quoted based on the delivery address.
- Delivery takes place Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays), and we use third parties to deliver.
- We can only deliver the goods if they can fit into lifts, on staircases, through passages and doors at the delivery address. The maximum couch length that can be fitted into an elevator must not exceed 2.2m. Please check before confirming delivery.
- Additional delivery charges (which will vary, depending on your delivery address) will apply to outlying areas or additional hoisting services. The delivery fee and any additional charges applicable to your order will be communicated to you and must be paid before delivery.
- If the flat or apartment does not have a suitable lift for the furniture, the Sit & Sleep delivery team will only be permitted to carry the items up to 3 floors in height, providing the stairwell and passages are wide enough to accommodate the items without any damages to the goods.
- Sit & Sleep will arrange delivery to the address you provide to us and will not be responsible for any loss of the goods once delivered and signed for. The delivery team will request proof of identity from the person receiving the goods and will record their details on the invoice.
- Upon delivery, we will place the goods where you choose but are not permitted to re-arrange furniture or clear areas for you.
- Please remove breakable items from the delivery site and make sure pets and small children are secured away from our delivery crew. We do not take responsibility for any items claimed missing or broken.
Collections:
- Once your order has been received and stock availability has been checked, we will contact you to arrange collection
- The person who collects your order must have the original invoice and present identification
- You accept full responsibility for the goods once they leave our store and we will not be held liable for any loss or damage of the product after the order has been collected
